Jason Simmons is a highly established instructor of Vista and North County San Diego, having over 15 years of experience teaching advanced levels of theory and performance on Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, Voice and Ukulele. He has helped thousands of students 'reduce the learning curve' in finding their voice on their instruments in a quick, fun and effective manner.

Gathering his credentials from Mira Costa College in Music Theory, Computerized Audio, and Guitar Performance he began his teaching journey in 2008 when he was hired as a tutor by the college and asked to teach a Guitar Class of 24 students when his teacher was double booked. He has since taught privately in a wide variety of styles including R&B, blues, rock, reggae, funk, punk, heavy metal, jazz, and classical treating each of his students unique to what they would want to express.

Aside from teaching music he also performs regularly at music festivals all across the nation playing lead guitar with artist Sierra Marin and her band Roots Ascension. His experience touring, in studios, and in the lesson booths, not only inspires students but also empowers them with the tools necessary to make it as a modern musician.
