About

Caroline is a Los Angeles native who comes from a family of musicians, artists, and educators. Her love for classical music began from an early age and it has expanded into jazz and choral music. She started piano at the age of 6 and went on to study music at Saint Mary’s College of CA in the bay area, where she participated in their piano program, jazz band and choirs. She discovered her love for singing in college, and studying vocal performance has strengthened her overall understanding of music and artistic expression.

Since college, Caroline has had many jobs as a teacher and mentor to younger generations. She has worked with students of all ages and backgrounds and has been praised for her patience with her students. She enjoys finding ways to improve the talents that already exist within the student and seeing progress that strengthens their confidence. Music is one of life’s truest joys, and she believes the practice and appreciation of music teaches students invaluable life skills that lead to living a happy, healthy and meaningful life. As well as teaching musical notation, expression, and performance technique, Caroline implements theory into her lessons to deepen the student’s understanding of music as a whole.
