Tammy currently lives in Surprise, Arizona, and grew up in Naperville, Illinois.  She began taking piano lessons at the age of 8.  She has studied under several concert pianists in California and Arizona.  She has taught piano, group keyboard and violin for several organizations, and formerly owned a thriving piano teaching business.  Tammy has been teaching students of all ages and levels for the past 25 years.  She teaches from a traditional and classical background yet still integrates all genres of music into her lessons.  As a teacher, Tammy believes that students can learn and have fun at the same time.  Her lessons embody technic, theory, lesson, history and musical games.  Tammy enjoys piano, reading, gardening, and escaping the heat in the northern Arizona mountains.
