Mason Cooke is a professional trombonist and teacher in the Denver metropolitan area. He has performed with notable local groups, such as Remy Le Boeuf's Assembly of Shadows, The Annie Booth Big Band, The Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra (CJRO) and Opera Colorado. Additionally, he has performed as part of traveling Broadway musicals, the latest being Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.

Mason has many years of prior teaching experience. He received his bachelor's degree in music education from Texas Tech University and recently received his master's degree in music from the University of Denver. He was previously a brass instructor with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps and has taught private lessons on multiple instruments in the Denver area for the last 2 years.

When not performing or teaching, he enjoys composing music for videogames and reading fantasy novels.
