Mary earned her Bachelor of Music Ed from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. She has been teaching private lessons since 1985. She welcomes students of all ages for beginning and intermediate piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, euphonium, trombone and tuba. Her teaching style is laid back and she tries to make learning fun to foster a love of music.
Mary currently plays euphonium with the South Shore Brass Band, trombone with the Calumet Ridge Jazz Ensemble, alto Saxophone with the Sicilian Band of Chicago and Tuba with The German Band inc.
Mary enjoys subbing around the Chicagoland area with many other groups. She currently lives in Hammond IN and loves animals almost as much as music.
