Clint grew up in the Charlotte, NC area. His love of guitar goes back to age 13. His dad taught him country standards from the Carter Family. From there he taught himself using the base of his dad's teachings and expanded on that to the point he was teaching his dad the Eagles and others from that era. Now, Clint can be found playing his own original songs. He's released songs to the public by way of streaming platforms.
Clint is heavily influenced by Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
He went to college at Gardner-Webb College (University now) on a baseball scholarship where he studied and graduated with a BA in Mass Communications. During baseball season part of the teams responsibilities was to pick up the trash after basketball games. He requested to play guitar in the pep band at those games and did so...(Hair band Rock-n-roll). He didn't want to be part of the trash detail!
He's been teach beginner guitar for about 3 years and prefers a laid-back philosophy.
Throughout his life Clint has always played guitar. He loves it. It's a way to be creative and he wants to share all this with interested students.
Don't ask him to sing...(he admits he's NOT good!)
