John "Johnny" Henao is a NYC born and Florida raised musician and creative. Johnny's interest and endeavors into music began as a toddler when his father would play his salsa and 80's cassette tapes while carrying him to and from their studio apartment in Queens. His mother a self taught amateur guitarist and jazz singer noticed Johnny's interest and helped pay for a few beginner classes. From there, Johnny's affinity for the guitar led him to develop his skillset by his own wits and ability to connect with others via impromptu jam sessions and Youtube how to's. Collectively he has played the guitar and bass for over a decade and the synth/piano for over 6 years. Residing in Austin TX, with his long term girlfriend, Evie and their two bunnies ,Johnny teaches private guitar and synth lessons on zoom with a focus on individuality and a think outside the box , non-conformity approach. In his free time, he performs/records under the alias "Johnny Boy" and "The Chrome Teeths", an experimental duo group.
