Julia Price is a flutist who grew up Greensboro, NC and currently resides in Arizona. She has been performing orchestral, pop, and jazz as a band leader and soloist since 2010 where she graduated from NC School of the Arts and furthered her studies with a Masters of music in flute performance from California State University in 2021. Her students range from all ages and skill levels as she focuses on tone production, fundamentals, songs and repertoire, and the development of flute pedagogy. Her applied lessons have helped students in various settings like band and orchestra performance in high school and middle school levels, competition, and personal and recital performance. She enjoys seeing her students grow and embrace the fun of music, as well as the range of styles that flutist can explore.
