Houston is a lifelong music lover, raised on choir, hymns, a cappella, theatre, and classic rock. He has been playing guitar and bass for almost half of his life and has participated in rock, folk, metal, country, and ambient bands. Houston started writing songs during his freshman year of college and decided to focus his education on music theory, composition, poetry, and vocal performance. He has been back in Nashville since 2022 and spends all the time he can writing, recording, mixing, and performing.
