About

Odariza Lopez hails from NYC. She is a Self-taught guitarist and pianist.
Growing up with a mix of latin-american culture, she was exposed since a very young age to Caribbean sounds and heavy rock influences from NYC. This made her start music by picking up an acoustic guitar and evolve from classical piano to electric guitar when finding her passion for heavy rock. Her love for classic rock and punk solidified her path in 2021. When her former band “Misty and The Wild Noise” was born. Currently she’s behind the production, plays main guitar and vocals at the Nashville based, alternative rock band “BEiA”.

In 2018, she received a B.S. in Music Production at Full Sail University. Since then she has been self-producing herself and producing other musicians in Nashville, TN.
Back in 2020, with the unexpected rise of Covid-19 she begun teaching online classes. Her love for teaching grew over the years. Today she offers classes online and in person to students of all ages.

Her teaching style is a hybrid method that blends popular music with a classical approach oriented to the interests of the student. She believes the best of both worlds creates the musicianship every student requires to surpass their own standards.
On her free time, Odariza enjoys sketching and painting. You can find her designing characters, writing poems or spending time at museums with friends.
