Alvy Sloan is a Denver Colorado native. He began playing acoustic guitar in high school where he began playing with multiple groups in various bands until he found his sound later in life in the Folk Music/Americana genre. This also inspired him to pick up and learn the banjo (to accompany his guitar playing), and a finnicky and amazing instrument it is~

Alvy is also an Audio Engineer. Obtaining his certification through Recording Connections based out of Berkeley California. He has written, recorded, mixed and mastered his own album with his band "Junebird Echo" Currently they will be in the recording studio in early 2025 to work on their next album and playing shows all along the Colorado front range and Denver metro area. You can also find their current album "Forever Ago" on all streaming platforms! Alvy enjoys helping people learn new instruments and finding their own sound. He has taught all ages, from 7 to 87 years young~

When Alvy is not playing shows, recording music, or teaching lessons, you can find him next to a river on a wild camping trip or catching up on sleep, sleep and more sleep. Hence why excess amounts of coffee (along with music) are an everyday part of life!
