Sofya Beckerman is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in 1988. Having started her piano studies at the age of five, Sofya has cultivated a deep and lifelong passion for music. While her formal teaching career began later in life, she has consistently maintained and expanded her musical knowledge throughout the years.

For the past year and a half, Sofya has been teaching from her studio in Brooklyn, NY, and is now in the process of relocating to Charlotte, NC, where she is eager to resume her teaching practice.
