About

Bruno Coz Núñez is a Peruvian guitarist with more than 10 years of experience. His musical roots go back to the Universidad Nacional de Música in Lima, Perú- where he obtained his bachelor's in music degree. He regularly collaborates with various music ensembles, and formed a guitar duet with which he continues to play.
Bruno has given recitals in Peru, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil with emphasis in classical and folk music from Latin America.
His experience with teaching is not governed by a specific age limit, he has taught both children and adults, both for a very serious audience whose goal was to enter a conservatory or university of music, and for an audience where the focus of music was more for relaxation or hobby. He has worked as a teacher at the National Conservatory of Music of Peru, teaching guitar lessons, and has also worked in regional music conservatories and academies giving piano and music theory courses. Its pedagogical approach is that the music student is able to make musical decisions for himself, distinguishing sections of each piece and playing with ease and naturalness.
Bruno has participated in numerous guitar festivals in Mexico (Culiacan - Sinaloa), Brazil (Femusc), USA (Applachian – North Carolina), obtaining different approaches to the study and technique of the guitar. Bruno is now pursuing a master's degree in guitar in the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) under the tutelage of teachers Joseph Pecoraro and Marco Sartor. Where, along with the technique of the instrument and the approach of scenic displacement, he takes pedagogy courses with the bases of the Suzuki method with the teacher William Kossler.
