Jackson is a performing guitarist, songwriter, and audio engineer coming up on a decade of experience in the industry. He was born right here in Arizona from the East Valley and began his journey just when he was 12 years old! Currently, he provides work as a Live Sound Engineer, Music Producer, Teacher and the occasional hired gun when his contacts are in need of a live musician. The majority of Jackson's musical ability came from his curiosities driving him to have a deep understanding of how music is written, played and why certain idiosyncrasies show up over and over again in many popular genres. If you have a burning desire to understand how to write songs, Jackson will be able to help! His main influences are from a variety of bands such as Judas Priest, Metallica, Pantera, Five Finger Death Punch, Van Halen, The Eagles and Ozzy Osbourne. Though his passions are in rock and metal, Jackson has experience in other places in music such as the blues, jazz, classical and even pop.

Teaching has many philosophies, and Jackson's is based off of what he wish he had when he was growing up; that is to teach musical concepts with musical context. Meaning that he is a deep believer in foundational musical knowledge supported through practical applications. This is a key feature to retaining what his students have learned from him, as it allows for an accelerated understanding of future material, creativity, improvisation and how to adapt swiftly.

A great step in Jackson's journey was during his time at CRAS where he was able to be placed in circles of professionals of the music industry. It was here that Jackson received certifications in Live audio, Protools and even classic time based devices such as the s6000 commonly used in professional studios. He interned at Soundvision Studios and was able to work on one of Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding albums. So not only is he a capable musician, he is also a great choice if a student has an interested in writing and recording their own songs!

He is a young man with a passion and a dream to become a full time professional musician. At the end of the day, Jackson's greatest satisfaction comes from seeing other people's lives changed through music.
