Colin Smith grew up in a musical household in Colorado. His father, grandfather and sister are all talented musicians. Colin started playing guitar and bass in high-school and he has since gone on to complete a BA in jazz performance at The Metropolitan State University of Denver. He now plays guitar and backup-bass for the Mile High Big Band and is a regular call for gigging musicians in the Denver scene. Colin has recorded and produced 2 studio albums and he has credits on several more. Additionally, he plays the upright bass and trumpet. For fun, he likes to cook, and build ecospheres!
