About

Devin Hernandez is a string player in Widefield, Colorado. She started playing viola at age 10, and she was a member of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association, during which she was also a part of the Colorado Ambassadors of Music program. Currently, she is teaching privately throughout Colorado Springs and Falcon, playing with the Colorado State University – Pueblo Alumni Orchestra, and exploring Ableton in The Aspen Valley Campus Rockestra Program. She studied with The Veronika String Quartet, and she has done a masterclass with Lawrence Leighton Smith. In addition to viola, Devin also teaches violin, and she plays cello and double bass in her free time. She has a BS in Music Education from Colorado State University – Pueblo, and she enjoys teaching students of all ages and backgrounds. Devin lives in Widefield, CO with her husband Anthony and cats, Bella and Ray, and she has dreams of rescuing older animals from shelter life.
