About

Daniel Leese is a budding vocal artist and music teacher from Malibu, California. Daniel is passionate about fostering enthusiasm and dedication in his students by exploring music that they enjoy. With six years of private teaching experience, he is excellent at communicating technical concepts and unlocking creative potential.

As a graduate from the Vocal Jazz program at the USC Thornton School of Music, he has studied with legendary musicians, such as Dr. Patrice Rushen and Vince Mendoza, and performed in esteemed venues, such as Carnegie Hall, the Forum, and the Hollywood Bowl. Throughout his undergrad, he tutored students at Thornton, taught privately, and served as music director and arranger for his a Cappella group, Troy Tones.
Daniel feels the most fulfilled when he inspires his students to work at their craft, get creative, and pursue success. When he is not teaching, he enjoys developing new musical skills, like conducting and film scoring. In his free time, Daniel loves to write songs with his friends and go to the movies.
