About

DaVionne, an Atlanta-based singer, songwriter, and producer, has been channeling her profound and intricate emotions through songwriting since the age of eight. Her captivating voice, capable of conveying the subtlest of feelings, found its roots in church performances during her childhood. By her early teens, she was self-producing her own material, and at 19, she featured on the platinum-certified compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III, earning her first Grammy nomination prior to securing a record deal.

In 2024, DaVionne received her second Grammy nomination for her songwriting contributions to J. Cole's album Might Delete Later, which was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.

She also co-starred in the acclaimed documentary Uncharted, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at Alicia Keys' She Is The Music songwriting camp. The film, executive produced by Alicia Keys, follows DaVionne’s journey and pursuits as she navigates the music industry, balances everyday challenges, and continues to hone her craft. Uncharted premiered on Paramount+ on October 22, 2024.

At 23, DaVionne made her Concord Records debut with the EP Good Grief, a concept project exploring the five stages of grief. Co-produced with collaborator Natra Average, the EP blends elements of R&B, folk, hip-hop, and psychedelia, showcasing her versatility as both a vocalist and songwriter.

Demonstrating her commitment to empowering fellow artists, DaVionne launched a songwriting course titled "Songwriting Simplified." This initiative reflects her dedication to sharing her expertise and supporting emerging talent in the music industry.

Reflecting on her journey, DaVionne acknowledges that the rigorous and emotionally demanding process of creating Good Grief has emboldened her artistry. By embracing unfiltered self-expression, she aims to inspire others to fully experience their emotions, recognizing that while life encompasses pain, it also holds profound beauty.
