Nina Kelly has been teaching piano, music theory, sight reading, ear training and music history to students from ages 4 to 82 for over 35 years. Raised in Southern California, she began piano lessons at age 11, found her passion, which led her to major in music and earn her B.A. in Music from CSU, Northridge. Focusing on each student's individual needs and goals, she makes learning lots of fun! Several of her students have moved on to succeed as music professionals: performers, composers - a testament to her motivational and inspiring teaching.

Her exceptional communication skills and easy going nature pair very well with the parents and students. Whether it be repertoire, theory, sight reading, technical skills or music history, Nina is well-versed to meet the needs of those who study with her. Students are encouraged to participate in performance opportunities too. She's a member of and has served on the board for the Conejo Valley branch of MTAC. Also a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers, she is Certified to teach piano through the American College of Musicians.

Nina believes that incorporating fun while learning is the key to student success. She prides herself in motivating all students and works easily to inspire everyone she teaches. She can’t wait to meet you!
