About
Hailing from Davidson, North Carolina, Aidan Quintana is an accomplished classical pianist studying with Dr. Roberta Rust at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. He is a former student of Dmitri Shteinberg and a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) piano department.
An experienced soloist, Aidan is a prize recipient at Music Teachers National Association competitions, a finalist in the annual UNCSA Concerto Competition, and has placed numerous times at North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs piano competitions. In addition to frequent recital appearances, he is an avid chamber musician, performing alongside distinguished touring artists, faculty, and ensembles such as the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra and the Lynn Philharmonia.
Aidan has appeared in masterclasses with world-renowned pianists Alan Chow, Sara Davis Buechner, Yakov Kasman, Mackenzie Melemed, Nina Schumann, and Rebecca Penneys. He has also performed at the Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival in Tampa, the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Colchester, Vermont, and most recently, as a pianist fellow at the Ted Atkatz Percussion Festival in Los Angeles, working alongside seven-time Grammy-nominated composer Andy Akiho.
In addition to his classical studies, Aidan is an established music director and conductor in South Florida theater, and has worked with production teams at The Delray Beach Playhouse, Plays Of Wilton Manors, and as pianist for shows at The Wick Theatre. Most recently, Aidan served as music director, pianist, and conductor for The Delray Beach Playhouse’s production of Jason Robert Brown’s “The Bridges of Madison County”, alongside acclaimed director Michael Ursua.
