Jonathon Hoch is a New Jersey-based artist/composer/performer/educator
Since the early years of his life, Jonathon's love for music, as well as his desire of wanting to help others through music has always remained the most important thing above all else. During his formative years, he studied guitar with American grammy award winning arranger, music producer, and historian Allan Slutsky.
Jonathon continued his music pursuits by attending The John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ to study voice, where he earned a BA in Music Education in 2021, studying under Bass-Baritone Peter Stewart, and acclaimed accompanist and vocal coach Mary Pinto.
While at Montclair, Jonathon was also a member of the Montclair State University Chorale, the flagship choir University Singers, and the SATB extracurricular project choir, Vocal Accord.
Jonathon also has an experienced background in performing both classical, and modern masterworks such as Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem in D Minor, Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Considering Matthew Shepard, and Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban in many venues in the NJ/NY area, such as The Cathedral Basilica of The Sacred Heart, Richardson Auditorium at Princeton University, The State Theater of New Jersey, and Carnegie Hall, and has also worked closely with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra during his undergraduate career as well.
Currently, Jonathon is working in the South Jersey area, where he teaches Guitar, Piano, and Voice.
