Around that same time his father bought him his first bass guitar. A year later, Brandon accepted a music scholarship from DePaul University. This is where he began teaching private music lessons and teaching through Chicago Civic Orchestra MusiCorps.
After graduating from DePaul University School of Music, Brandon began his musical career as a cruise ship musician working for Carnival Cruise Lines. He is currently working as a musical director for a church and teaching students in guitar and bass.
