About

Rebecca is a firm believer that music is a universal language full of fun and love. She has become the vocalist and pianist she is today because of instructors and directors who took her under their wings and instilled individuality, confidence, a love and understanding of melody and harmony, passion, discipline, and an all-over true heart to share the love of music with everyone around her.

Her foundation in piano is based on taking lessons herself from the ripe age of 8 and maintained those lessons until she was a Junior in high school. In her piano lessons, students will jump into their musical journey based on what their goals are but most importantly they incorporate movement exercises, games to help retain musical knowledge, performance material, and a strong foundation of music theory that has the potential to help in many other instruments on the student’s musical adventure throughout their life.

Rebecca has an even richer foundation in Vocal Performance. Her youth was spent singing…mainly in choirs from 4th grade on up into her years at Baylor University where she had the opportunity to perform in their Concert Choir and even took a semester of Voice to satiate the hunger to learn more.

On top of her choir experience, Rebecca has taken formal vocal lessons which has led into lead vocal roles in muisicals, praise bands, cover bands, and even a startup metal rock band in Nashville, Tennessee called Evercross. Her vocal stylings range from Tenor/Baritone to Soprano II and she has inclinations towards all genres! Her focuses are on breath control, pitch accuracy, diction, performance, projection, and sound control.

Rebecca seeks to enrich her knowledge by sharing what she knows and to continue learning through her pupils. She is excited to be a part of building a foundation and passion for music overall to all who want to experience what music truly is.
