Joel Oroz is a multi-instrumentalist from Phoenix Arizona, where he grew up playing guitar, drums, piano, and bass. He has played drums for 20 years, guitar and bass for 10 years and piano for 8 years. Joel currently performs around the valley with numerous ensembles. Most recently he has performed with the Nuance Jazz Trio, Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, and Michael Kocour Quintet. Joel holds a Master's degree in Jazz Performance from Arizona State University. Joel enjoys residing in Phoenix Arizona with his wife, Lea, and their two dogs, Buttons and Mickey.
