Jason Salazar moved to Austin in 2019. They got their start in music at a young age by performing live music, musicals, and special performances. As they grew older, they took lessons and began to train professionally and became a singer songwriter, and performer. As an adult, they spent years performing in venues both large and small and has also become a published artist with music available on all streaming platforms. They have been able to train under artists and a few Grammy nominated artists such as Jennifer Pena, Songwriters and producers such as David Wellman and Christian Carcamo, and they even opened for NF during his tour in 2016. Jason has spent the last few years at The King’s University getting their degree in Music. They are music theory proficient and professionally trained as a singer and a pianist. Jason has also been coaching other individuals pursuing the same career since 2015 and has taught students ranging from elementary ages to individuals in their 50’s. Jason is able to teach multiple style vocals, beginners music theory, and beginners piano. Jason trains individuals based off of what they want and need and is flexible in teaching styles as some students perform best with structured lessons and some in a more loose and flexible setting. Jason greatly enjoys music and has a passion to teach others so that they too can maintain their passion for music and become successful in their craft. Jason is happily married to their partner Lee who is an elementary school teacher and they have two dogs named Bexar and Bailey and a cat named Ham.
