About

Jeff Wilken hails from Seattle, and is a lifelong pianist, singer, guitarist, and composer. He holds degrees in Music Production/Engineering and Music Business from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and is also an alumnus of Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, where he studied music with emphases in piano performance and composition.
Jeff has taught kids and adults alike since his high school years, with specialization in piano, voice, guitar, ear training, and audio engineering. In addition, he has produced artists (including himself) across an array of genres, and recorded in numerous studios throughout Los Angeles, Boston, and as far afield as Valencia, Spain. His passion for music and self-expression has impressed itself on many hundreds of collaborators and students, perhaps most eminently during his four-year tenure as music director at Sober College, a Los Angeles-based residential treatment center for youths recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. Jeff is voraciously curious, with interests that include foreign languages, theoretical physics, astronomy, mathematics, economics, philosophy, geopolitics, and physical fitness. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is father to a beautiful newborn daughter, with whom he is hopelessly and eternally smitten.
