Lea Ale is a double bass and piano performer and educator from Minneapolis, MN. She holds a Masters in double-bass performance and a Masters of Arts in musicology from Arizona State University and is eager to share the information she has learned with her students. Lea has experience playing as a recitalist, in symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, and pit orchestras covering a wide range of music.

Lea is dedicated to helping students achieve their artistic goals through individualized and creative methods that focus on music theory, technique, musicality, and how to create an effective practice routine. She believes in helping students develop their own approaches to practicing and performing that work for them!
