About

Beth Alderete is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist as well as an experienced certified early childhood educator from New Mexico. She began classical training in piano at five years old and continued her tutelage through college. At an early age, Beth became proficient in performance in school bands and ensemble groups including the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival and Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra-sponsored Mozart Marathon and Bach Marathon concerts as a pianist, vocalist and clarinetist. She was named an All-State musician (clarinet) during high school and dedicated her time to her disciplines throughout her experience as an undergrad student including New Mexico State University Pride Marching Band, NMSU Roadrunner Revue, NMSU Symphonic Band, a soloist and section leader on saxophone in the New Mexico Highlands University jazz ensemble and as a vocal soloist in ‘HU Singers and NMHU concert choir.
Since graduating college, Beth has been a member of the band, Contrafact, a jazz band where she sings, scats, and solos on alto sax. She has collaborated with other musicians and vocalists in her many years in the music community.
Beth has been a teacher for TML for three years, specializing in online lessons to fit your busy schedule.
