About

Michael's musical journey began at the age of 6, when he first was able to learn piano. Drums and percussion would later become his main instrument earning honors as 1st chair in All Region for 6 years straight, 1st chair for All Region Jazz for 4 years, and All State band for his Junior and Senior Year of High School. In 2007 Michael was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA for drums where he graduated in 2011 with his degree in Music Business and Management.

During his college years at Berklee he honed his vocal skills and auditioned for The X factor and advanced throughout the show! Since then he has worked with vocal artists from shows such as The Voice, American Idol, Youtube Viral artist Nikki Aliah, NBC The Sing-Off, and Rolling Stones back-up vocalist Sasha Allen as well as working along side Grammy Award winning producer/pianist Rob Lewis.

Michael currently performs with the Cedar Park Winds and will be performing with world renowned clarinetist Doreen Ketchens in the summer of 2022.
