Joe has been playing, studying, and teaching guitar for over 20 years. During this time, he has developed a methodology that will get you up and playing in the first week. Joe lived in New York where studied music theory and composition at Hunter College and Columbia and also played in several bands all the while working in Carnegie Hall for a major concert producer. He studied classical guitar and jazz improvisation at UC Santa Cruz - 'Go Slugs!' If you are a beginner and want to get started fingerpicking, strumming, or even shredding some of your favorite hits. Maybe you just want to learn how to play a 12-bar blues, either acoustic or electric. You may also want to pick up some basic music theory and harmony or read charts and guitar notation.
