Richard Fryant is a Seattle native who was inspired to pick up guitar when he first heard the blues style playing of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Richard has been a self-taught guitarist since he started at the age of 15. From playing in bands to open mic nights, guitar competitions and collaborating with others as a session guitarist, he's experienced the music scene more than the average musician. Richard has developed his own style of playing with an emphasis on using the whammy bar and also utilizes electric, baritone, 12-string, steel string acoustic and classical guitars. Richard has taught ages from 8-25 and wants to help others develop their own style as a musician. He believes music is a language and we all have our own way of communicating.
