Austin Kennedy has been burning up guitar strings for over twenty years now. As a Louisiana native and mostly self-taught musician, his influences range from jazz to rock to bluegrass. His rhythm and lead approach is an infused cocktail of sounds resembling greats such as Stevie Ray, Jerry Garcia, and B.B. King. He has performed and recorded with various musical acts in a wide range of styles and have graced the stages of Voodoo Fest and South by Southwest. With his funky soul-fired melodic style combined with his sharp attack, tasty leads, and down home rhythmic bliss, ensures the groove won't be fakin and the hips will be shakin.
