Kari Betton (she/they) is a mental health-informed music educator, singer, composer and music theorist. Having taught, performed and composed music in over 10 genres and counting, Kari has been recognized for their vast versatility & multidimensionality in the arts world.

They have been teaching voice for over 12 years, having worked with award-winning organizations like Storycatchers Theatre, the Chicago Lyric Opera, and Steppenwolf Theatre. Kari has a demonstrated history of providing music education that has a light-hearted, pressure-free, caring and affirming nature. Kari is looking forward to working with voice and piano students at TML!
