For Nashville based multi-instrumentalist Brian Purwin, music has always been a driving force in his life. With over 20 years of teaching and performing experience across many genres, his musical journeys have led to performances at Carnegie Hall, Fenway Park, The Ryman, The Grand Ole Opry, as well as numerous television appearances on The Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The CMT Awards. Brian was educated at The Juilliard School in NYC, New England Conservatory, and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Most recently, Brian can be found teaching, in the studio, or playing keyboards and violin with the country/southern rock band A Thousand Horses. An avid educator and teacher, many of Brian’s students have gone on to study music at prestigious conservatories and have professional careers of their own.
