Ann LaRose, Piano, Keyboard: BM Curtis Institute, MM Mannes College, Doctoral abd Peabody Johns Hopkins.With over 25 years’ piano teaching experience, Ann provides piano lessons that include music theory and composition basics, providing each private student with a lesson plan that is uniquely suited to their own individual goals, preferences, and abilities. An award-winning pianist herself, Ann’s students have achieved numerous piano awards, and placement as piano majors in universities such as USC and BYU. Ann hails from Palos Verdes where she lives with her standard poodle Samson and her two trumpet-playing sons Russell and Jeffrey. Together with older son Russell, Ann also develops electronic music for video and film and works with several chamber music ensembles.
