About

Adam was born in Waterloo, IA. Enjoying music from a young age, he started playing guitar in his early teens. Being self-taught, he found himself in various bands around the Waterloo area, ranging from metal to country. Looking to expand on his passion for music, he moved to St. Paul, MN, studying Guitar Performance and Music Theory at McNally Smith College of Music. After college, he moved back to the Cedar Valley area of Iowa to teach, perform and write music. He moved to the Nashville area in 2021. He is currently performing with country music artist Ryan Daniel, as well as working as a studio musician and songwriter. In September, a song he co-wrote, Gonna Take A Few by Ryan Daniel won the award for Indie Music Channel’s Best Contemporary Country Song.

Adam has been teaching music for the last seven years and is capable of teaching any age range. He prefers to find out what goals the student has as a musician to help create lessons that keep students engaged and moving towards their goals.
