About

JoAnne is a Nashville based voice teacher with a Master’s Degree in Vocal Pedagogy who is obsessed with vocal health. (If you don’t know what vocal pedagogy is, it’s all the science-y stuff about singing.)

She loves supporting her students in creating more efficient singing through a variety of vocal exercises and repertoire paired with mindset and yoga. She wrote her thesis on how weight training and yoga effect singing, and is a yoga teacher herself. She has found the techniques of yoga can be transformational for singing.

She primarily teaches musical theatre, but also has students who sing classical, pop music, country, worship, and even some singer-songwriters. JoAnne sings all styles and has experience writing music too.

Her clientele ranges from professional actors to hobbyists, and she loves working with all her students.
