About

Marianne Martinoli grew up in Seattle, Washington, where she began studying violin at a young age. She holds a bachelor and master degree in Violin Performance from The Cleveland Institute of Music where she graduated magna cum laude in 2019.
Marianne has studied extensively with several of the greatest violin pedagogues in the United States including William Preucil, Kathleen Winkler, Grigory Kalinovsky, and Paul Kantor.
Marianne works professionally as both a classical violinist and as a pop artist. She has held positions with many major symphony orchestras in the US, collaborated on the scores of Nicholas Hooper, Michael Giacchino, and Warner Bros. in participation with CineConcert's Harry Potterâ„¢ Film Concert Series, as well as worked with notable artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, John Legend, Cindi Lauper, Earth Wind and Fire, Kristen Chenoweth, and others.
Most recently, Marianne has been fulfilling the position of Substitute Violinist at the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra in Los Angeles, working full time with The Phoenix Symphony, and performing with Mariachi Tierra Tapatia.
As a teacher, Marianne is goal oriented but fun. She strives to personalize curriculum and lessons to each individual's needs; looking for good technique and progress on repertoire while also learning about how music enriches and adds joy to our lives.
