Amy is a Colorado native having attended Columbine High School, CSU, and CU. She is a former music teacher for JeffCo public schools. She began piano lessons in the third grade. She is also a former chorister with Opera Colorado. She has sung lead roles with Littleton Town Hall and the Country Dinner Playhouse. She has been a church choir soloist and accompanist for Brentwood Methodist Church and Saint Francis Cabrini. Her parents are retired JeffCo music teachers. Her daughter will be attending the University of Colorado in the fall with a degree in speech pathology and music minor.
