Jackson is a passionate, hardworking musician. He has been playing the piano since he was 4 years old. He was adopted from Russia and music has been a constant source of joy and motivation for him. Over his 24 years, he has also competed in countless piano/voice competitions and won most of them. He is successful and knowledgeable in many fields that pertain to competition, performance, technical knowledge/theory, and production/recording-arts/audio engineering. He believes in teaching the fundamentals first as he says they are crucial building blocks for understanding more advanced techniques and styles down the line. Whether you are casually wanting to learn music or dead set on high-level performance/competition, Jackson is a great, experienced teacher.
