Originally from Auburn, Washington, Megan was raised in a family where everyone played a musical instrument. Megan began piano lessons at an early age, started playing violin in the fifth grade, and then added viola a few years later. Throughout her childhood she participated in school orchestras, youth symphonies, pit orchestras, and in her church's band. Megan started private teaching lessons in high school, which led her to Western Washington University where she is in her fourth year and final year of pursuing a bachelor's degree in Music Education. One day she'd like to teach a secondary orchestra. Outside of music, Megan enjoys photography, paddle boarding, traveling, and taking her cat for walks.
