Daniel Pok is a pianist from Whittier, California. He grew up in Southern California and began studying classical piano at nine years of age. During his early years, he completed the Music Teachers Association California’s Certificate of Merit program, including receiving Branch honors. He also completed the Piano Guild program during this time. Daniel currently works as a piano accompanist, organist, and also bell choir director for Woven in Faith Church in Whittier. He has played for a wide variety of soloists and ensemble groups, including performing Handel’s Messiah with the International L.A. Oratorio Chorus, along with soloists Dr. Susan Ali, Jong Jin Lee, Eun Ok Kim, and Bobby Casillas. He has performed in masterclasses with Daniel Pollack, Eduardo Delgado, and Dr. Susan Svrcek. Daniel Studied piano at Cal State University Fullerton, and also the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles where he received his certificate in keyboard technology while studying contemporary rock/pop music, basic synthesis, recording, and software notation.
