Alex Guan studies music at UCLA and has been a performing musician in Los Angeles for half a decade. As a Global Jazz Studies major, Alex pursues improvisational arts of music across all cultures (Japanese film composition, Classical Music of Italy, Video Game Music Composition, etc.) and studies modern media composition in his free time. Alex loves arranging, and teaching songs from anime, movies, video games, and modern pop songs too! Alex is fluent in many different instruments and styles of music, from classical piano to jazz trombone to modern rock wind synthesizers! With years of experience teaching musicians at all levels; beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, Alex crafts the perfect learning experience for his students with personalized lesson plans and pushes them to pursue their musical ambitions!
