About

Jory Meek is an experienced and educated multi-instrumentalist musician with a B.S. in music production/audio engineering. He has taught music lessons for 6+ years both in small classes and one on one sessions. He teaches intro to music theory, theory fundamentals I and II, advanced theory, jazz improvisation techniques, and many more subjects and methods.
His focus for his students is to hone their skills beyond reading and performing pre-written material. He hopes to give them the skills to compose and create their own musical ideas and become adept at improvising in a multi-musician environment. (i.e. a band or project group).
