About

Trevor Lee Ridge is a nationally performing artist, producer, and educator working in the Greater Seattle Area since 2006. Growing up in Oakland, CA, Trevor was selected for private lessons by legendary jazz drummer Jerry Machia at the age of 8 followed by guitar training with Mark Abrahamian of Jefferson Starship fame. He went on to study at The Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, receiving an Associate’s degree in Sound Engineering and the GIT Guitar Mastery Certificate. Thereafter, he relocated to Seattle where he pursued a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from Cornish College of the Arts, specializing in guitar, piano, and vocal performance.

Professionally Trevor has performed across the U.S., Europe, and South America working with Brazilian jazz/pop legend Ivan Lins. Stateside, he has focused on recording and composing music for TV/Film/Video Game studios and a plethora of original recording artists across many genres and styles. Additionally, he has worked extensively as a music instructor and program director where he has organized music training curricula and regional performances & events. Trevor specializes in all manner of Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele, Bass, Drums, Piano, Voice, and digital music production such as Ableton Live, Pro Tools, and Logic Pro.

With Trevor, each student is given a custom lesson plan based on their interests, learning styles, and personality – Music should be fun! Trevor is very active in the community lobbying for volunteer music instruction and programs for at-risk youth, and is an advocate of access to music instruction for all. Lee Ridge is a nationally performing artist and producer, working locally in Seattle as well as Hawaii, Los Angeles, and the East Coast. He has received a Sound Engineering degree at The Musician’s Institute in LA, as well as a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. Trevor has been playing music professionally since 2001, and has been teaching music for over 12 years.
