About

Aditya Sriram grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, California where he began playing the drums and piano from a young age. He is currently in Seattle for graduate education, and continues to enjoy playing in small ensembles of all types of genres and producing music individually. Aditya has been a part of the UC Davis Jazz Ensemble as both a pianist and a drummer, and is a member of the East Bay Traditional Jazz Society. He has completed the Music Teachers Association of California piano certification program under the instruction of his longtime teacher, Jesse Micek. Besides teaching piano and drums, Aditya also conducts workshops for electronic music composition over online platforms. He holds a B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Genetic Epidemiology from the University of Washington, Seattle.
