Chris Shofner hails from east Texas where he began playing guitar and drums at age 13. For the past eight years Chris has been a featured guitar instructor at Guitarmasterclass.net where more than 100 of his guitar lessons have been published. Chris is fluent in rock, blues, country, pop, and fusion styles. In addition to teaching guitar, Chris also teaches drums, bass, and ukulele. Chris spends his days as a university professor teaching video and audio/music production. He holds a BA in mass media from Henderson State University and an MFA in electronic art from the University of Cincinnati. While music was not his major, Chris took many music courses and performed in many ensembles during his college career. Chris loves living in the Twin Cities with his wife, Abigail and their three children.
