About
Chance Landers is a Central-Ohio professional Opera/Musical Theater Singer and Performer. Holding a BM in Vocal Performance from Otterbein University, he has filled theaters and various venues throughout Ohio, the US, and even Europe (Germany) with his voice. While living in Columbus, he has performed with many companies and their productions; some notable roles include: Chorus in Die Fledermaus and Don Pasquale with Opera Project Columbus (Lincoln and Southern Theater), Barfeé in Player’s 25th Putnam County Spelling Bee and Chef/Troupe in Something Rotten! with Gallery Players, Bamford Beadle in Seeing Stars Production’s Sweeney Todd: In Concert, and was one of eight featured performers at the 21st Annual Thurber Prize Award ceremony in 2021; which was broadcast live on WOSU from the Lincoln Theater. This August, you can find him playing the role of Reggie and other amusing roles in First Date the Musical at the magnificent Hinson Amphitheater in New Albany, Ohio.
Even with a classical voice training, Chance has a burning passion for Musical Theater and Contemporary works. From well known Broadway shows, to random song cycles, he has a vast knowledge of repertoire suggestions. He is also obsessed with Germany, its language and culture, and is versed in German Lieder/Art Song. Vocal Training/Coaching, Audition Tips, Song Analysis, Character Breakdown, and much more are some of the many things he can offer to any singer.
