About

Eric holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University's Steinhardt School, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the Ohio State University. Eric has worked as an adjunct voice professor at New York University as well as the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles, teaching individual undergraduate voice lessons.

Eric has performed off-Broadway, in regional theatre, and has visited over 25 countries performing as a vocalist for Celebrity Cruises. He has had leading roles in productions of Cabaret (The Emcee), The Fantasticks (El Gallo), The Pirates of Penzance (Frederick), has performed the American National Anthem for the New York City Pride March and many other events, and is a member of Actors' Equity Association. He is a classically trained pianist and enjoys composing music. Eric is also the proud father of two rescue cats, Sam and Frankie.

Voice lessons with Eric focus on establishing and improving air flow (flow phonation) and choosing repertoire that develops vocal coordination based on the student's current level. Expect positive reinforcement, never be afraid to ask questions, and be willing to try some fun tools to feel and hear more clarity in your sound, even during your first lesson.
