As an active performer and educator in the Cleveland area for the past 16 years, Tony continues to build his repertoire through his understanding of various styles of music and students of all ages. Classically trained starting at age 9 and a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra and the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony Group 1, Tony excelled in music throughout high school. Upon receiving various solo performance awards at state contests and the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, Tony received a scholarship to Cleveland State University where he studied music performance with an emphasis in education. Upon completing his degree, Tony won an audition for Royal Caribbean Cruises touring in Spanish and Italian Mediterranean ports, playing in the main stage for all the guest entertainers and cast performance shows. After leaving the ship, Tony continued to tour the US extensively with original projects and teach privately throughout the greater Cleveland area. Tony continues to strive musically both on the bandstand and in the classroom.
